Accessibility Policy
Hands On Approaches, Inc. is committed to providing equal educational opportunities to all individuals with disabilities and any requests for special accommodations are not factors considered in registering for and attending one of our conferences. We attempt to make our conferences and facilities accessible to all and individuals with disabilities are invited to bring with them any auxiliary aids they need for learning. We are prepared to make any and all reasonable accommodations for individuals who wish to attend our courses so please contact Hands On Approaches, Inc. with any special requests or accommodations necessary to ensure an optimal learning environment.
Cancellation Policy for Registrants
All cancellations must be received in writing via fax, email, or mail. A full refund, less a $75 administrative fee, will be provided if cancellation is received up to four weeks prior to the date of the course. Half tuition, less a $75 administrative fee, will be refunded if cancellation is received up to two weeks prior to the date of the course. No refunds will be made after the two week deadline. Tuition for no-shows or cancellations received after the course has started will be forfeited, no exceptions. Hands On Approaches, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the course for extenuating circumstances. A full refund for the course fee will be provided. Hands On Approaches, Inc. is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the participants (ie: non-refundable travel arrangements) if the course is cancelled. Tuition for no-shows or cancellations received after the course has started will be forfeited, no exceptions.
Occasionally, changes are made due to speaker availability, participant demand or unforeseen circumstances. Courses may occasionally be cancelled. You will be notified by email and/or phone at least 24 hours in advance of the class start date. A full refund will be granted. While Hands On Approaches, Inc. will do everything possible to ensure participant satisfaction, Hands On Approaches, Inc.'s liability is limited to the tuition fee only.
Complaint and Grievance Policy
Any complaints or grievances must be submitted in writing. This may be mailed, faxed, or sent via email. Submitted complaints or grievances should include: the name, address, phone number, email, profession of person submitting the complaint or grievance. Additionally, the title of the CE course, as well as the exact nature of the complaint/grievance. The Administrator of Continuing Education will make an effort to resolve the complaint/grievance to the satisfaction of the person who registered for the course. This may include issuance of a credit for another CE course or other action suitable to all parties.
